MOSCOW, August 11 — RIA Novosti. The volume of Russian oil production and its prices in the markets indicate that Moscow is winning the confrontation on the oil market, writes Bloomberg’s columnist, Javier Blas.
As the author notes, this can be seen «whatever pointer you use». The first indicator is the situation with the oil production volumes in Russia. Last month, that figure almost returned to its early-year level, averaging almost 10.8 million barrels per day, which in January is just slightly below 11 million. «This is not a surge: July was the third consecutive month of recovery in oil production,» emphasizes Blas.
