MOSCOW, July 12 — RIA Novosti. UK retail sales have fallen to record lows amid high inflation in recent months, reported the Guardian on Tuesday, citing a report by the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
«Sales are falling to levels we have not seen since the peak of the pandemic as (the effects of) inflation are still being felt and households are holding spending,» BRC CEO Helen Dickenson said in a statement.
