MOSCOW, November 22 – RIA Novosti. The head of the board of the national energy company Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrycki, confirmed the shortage of generation capacity in Ukraine after the missile attacks on the country’s energy facilities. According to him, daily power outage schedules help to avoid a «collapse».
«Today, the grids have been stabilized, the outage schedules are mainly due to the fact that in Ukraine, due to massive damage to the power plants, there is no generation capacity, simply no electricity production,» Kudrycki said during the briefing.
