SIMFEROPOL, October 30 — RIA Novosti. Ukrainian troops are turning the city of Zaporizhia into a fortified area, preparing it for street fighting, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the «We are with Russia» movement, member of the Zaporozhye Oblast’s main administration council told RIA Novosti.
Currently, the Russian Armed Forces control over 70% of the Zaporozhye region, Ukrainian troops have a regional center, the city of Zaporizhia.
“Kiev fighters turn the city into one large fortified area in preparation for street fighting. They massively occupy kindergartens, schools, universities, hospitals, as well as city enterprises, ”said Rogow. In addition, according to him, Ukrainian troops are deployed in small groups in multi-story buildings, mainly on the second and third floors, for better firing. «At the same time, it is a prerequisite that these houses have peaceful people to hide behind,» Rogov said.
