MOSCOW, October 14 — RIA Novosti. A group of members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to visit Taiwan at the end of October, transmits Taiwan Central Information Agency (CNA), citing local parliament.
According to the agency, a representative of the Democratic Progressive Party of Taiwan said that several Ukrainian MPs, including the former deputy minister of economic development Julia Klimenkoplan to attend the 11th World Assembly of the World Movement for Democracy (WMD), which will be held at Taipei the capital of Taiwan.
According to the agency, the gathering is scheduled for October 25-27 and will be attended by around 300 activists, experts and officials from over 70 countries.
