China is in favor of a ceasefire in Ukraine and the start of peace talks, the international community must create the conditions for this, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Tuesday during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali.
«The parties exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine. Xi Jinping emphasized that China’s position on the Ukrainian crisis is consistent and clear, China is in favor of a ceasefire, cessation of hostilities and peace talks,» reports China Central Television.
