MOSCOW, April 16 — RIA Novosti. Vladimir Zelenskiy decidedthat Kyiv will not negotiate with Moscow in the event of the destruction of the Ukrainian army in Mariupol, which the Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly offered to surrender.
Formerly the Ministry of Defense Russia informed that in Mariupol 1026 soldiers of the 36th Marine Brigade surrendered. Chairman of the Committee Federation Council for Defense and Security Victor Bondarev stated that Russia treats Ukrainian soldiers humanely who have voluntarily surrendered and do not use illegal methods of influencing them. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informed that the Russian side announced its readiness to release all Ukrainian military through humanitarian corridors and guaranteed the life of the nationalists who laid down their arms. The Ukrainian side rejected this proposal.
