MOSCOW, July 19 — RIA Novosti. The head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, Andriy Yermak, called for sanctions to be imposed on relatives and children of the Russian army participating in the special operation of the Russian Federation.

«Today I want every soldier who sets foot on our land, his relatives, children, his family, also to be on the sanctions list,» Yermak said in an interview with Novoye Vremya.

After the commencement of the Russian special operation on Ukraine Western countries began to impose sanctions on RF, especially on Russian energy. President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated that the policy of containment and weakening of Russia is a long-term strategy of the West, and that the sanctions dealt a serious blow to the entire world economy.
